Don't fear...

Well, gentlemen web designers, web programmers and pro-bloggers, get ready! Judgment Day is coming!

Soon many of you (myself included) will step of the road named Web... And the reason for this is a small project, whose organizers have set themselves a very simple goal: to teach every housewife and others humanitarians =) with subtleties of web design and programming.

The project has intriguing for the elderly and children name which is "Don't Fear the Internet", and it’s creators Jessica Hische and Russ Maschmeyer promise to teach the tricks of HTML, CSS and even PHP to all people, distant from the site-building (that means teach those who have been paying us a salary all this time)! By the way, the project team has a normal sense of humor, their videos are full of very funny inserts and interesting allegories. For example, the structure of the HTML-code they compare with a hamburger, and interpret this abbreviation as a "Hamburger Text Markup Language".

At this moment they made seven episodes of the project, in which Jessica and Russ in a few minutes put on the right shelves all the basics of HTML and CSS, with attention to the main tags and selectors, as well as considering IDs and classes. And I am afraid to imagine how quickly they can learn this social stratum to make PHP scripts. Especially with their ability to reduce the amount of the material, leaving only the most commonly used definitions.

In any case, I'm waiting for the next series with great interest (Russ promised new videos in the near future in his twitter). Perhaps you will see our blog changed and unique too in near future, thanks to tips of "Don't Fear the Internet".
